” Ramzan 2024: School timings in Punjab to be revised ” | Dunya News Online

LAHORE: The Punjab Education Department is set to revise the school timings for the holy month of Ramzan 2024 and an official notification will be issued in this regard soon.

It is expected that all public and private schools will commence at 7:30am till 12:30pm from Monday to Thursday while on Friday the schools will open till 11:30am.

Double-shift schools will commence at 7:15am and 12:30pm and end at 12:15pm and 4:30pm, respectively.

Ramzan aid initiative rolled out across Punjab

This decision also affects the youngest learners in playgroup and nursery classes in private schools, who will now end their school day by 11:30 am in Lahore.

The new timings are expected to come into effect from March 11 as Ramzan is likely to begin from Monday or Tuesday in Pakistan.
